Arch is going on to Mast confusion

Today the boat was waxed and as you can see in the pictures the crane lifted the arch up on the boat and they fastened it to mass confusion one more step towards going into the water.

One week at Lake Erie

We arrived last week on Tuesday to East Harbor State Park on Lake Erie and started working on the boat. First we had to uncover the boat and then put the Mast back together. We ran some new wires up the mast and cleaned all the stainless and tested the rigging. The type of mast that we have has to be pre bent when you have it on the saw horses. We hired someone to wax the boat which I am really happy about. The weather has been very cooperative some rain but never a complete rain out. We also visit Jodi, Tyler, Zach, and Corbin for Jodi's Birthday.

Old Man's Cave day 2

We walked about 9 miles today and saw the cave The Gorge the new Trail Whispering cave and the hemlock Trail plus we walked up to the lodge that burnt down last winter. We also were visited by a friend that lives in the area.

Old Man's Cave day one

Today we left Roan Mountain and drove Route 23 to Chillicothe and then some side roads get to Old Man's Cave. On the way we stopped to pay our repects to Doug's grandparents and aunt's grave site close to Waverly Ohio.  Old Man's Cave is one of our favorite places to camp in Ohio. It rained all the way up sometimes quite heavy, Tweety as never been in that much rain, but he did ok.

Roan Mountain day 3

We drove up to Miller Homestead and saw how they actually lived up in the mountains. Then we went geocaching and found a cache that we deposited and item into. Tomorrow morning we are leaving for Old Man's Cave in Ohio. Oh yes we did roast Peeps today.
