We have been here for about a week and have had a wonderful time. There's a lot to see and as you can see. We have seen Mt. Rushmore, Iron Mountain, Custer Park and Needles highway. We also visited Storybook Island and Dinosaur land in Rapid City.
The cabin is extremely nice and comfortable. Tonight it will be in the lower forties, but the daytime temps have been in the upper 70's most days.
Sunday and Monday we made our way to the Black Hills area. On the way we stopped in Badlands. It was nice to be at our home for the week and get into the hot tub.
Tuesday we made the big tour. Mt. Rushmore, Iron Mountain, Custer park and Needles Highway.
Wednesday we toured Spearfish Valley with many waterfalls to hike.
Friday we drove to Devil's Tower in Wyoming. It was only about an hour and half away.
