Cross roads to the Carolina's Campground and Hunting Beach State park

Getting in a little practice.

Our campground had a nice swimming pool complete with slide and toys.
Doug and I both enjoyed the slide.
As you can see we were very close to the pool.

Today we walked the beach at Huntington Beach State Park.  Very few shells on the beach, but we did find this starfish.

Not too sunny but a very nice walk on the beach.

Annapolis Boat Show and Cantwell Cliffs state park

Annapolis mooring field where we spent many nights on the ball enjoying Wednesday night racing fleets and Annapolis in general.
This beautiful sailing vessel "Summerwind" was donated to the Navel Acadamy.

Summerwinds length is over 100 Ft.  Beautifully appointed and immaculately kept.

Yes this Helicopter is on the boat.
Turtle at Cantwell Cliffs State park the following pics show some of the beauty of the park.

This is a green snake about 30 inches long.

Beaver dam.

The beach with fossils visible.
Cute idea leave your toys for others to enjoy
Natural Gas pumping station. Once used to import now we are exporting.

Day one and two at Annapolis area

Back in Deale, MD at Herrington Harbor North checking out the marina that was home for two summers.

Looks as wonderful as ever.  This marina is home to 600 boats.  It was awesome to call it home while it lasted.
This is a new addition.  A gas fire pit overlooking the fairways.
We both looked at each other and said we need one of these at WMV.
What a great place to gather with friends.

Just turn the dial and wallah instant fire.  No fuss no muss, just enjoy.

Now doesn't that look inviting?

It was about 2-3 in the afternoon, but if you look closely between the rocks you can see fire.
We saw a gaggle of wild turkeys on our way to Annapolis.
There must have been a dozen just foraging along the road.   We actually saw one fly over the road.
They better watch out, Thanksgiving is just around the corner.

Jim and Cathy Rosenbalm may recognize the view from Skippers.  We had lunch there by Paddle Board / Kayak.
Skippers is one of our favorite places for Happy Hour.

This is a window box.  Notice the kale and even peppers.  Annapolis is so beautiful.
I love the door knockers of Annapolis.
There are so many unique designs.
Halloween is coming to Annapolis.  Notice the witch on the front porch.

Another knocker.  This one reminded me of "Thing" from the Adams family.
Home of William Paca.  Paca was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and also a three term Governor of MD.  Now closed to the public, but we were able to tour the home summer of 2015.
The following are just sites we found interesting while walking the residential streets.

Note the helicopter on top of a boat.  These people have too much money.
